Pomegranates will release their fourth studio album, Heaven, on June 5th via Modern Outsider Records. The new album was co-produced by Miguel Urbitztondo (Sparklehorse, Daniel Johnston). It's reportedly a "beautiful album of dreamy art-pop". [modernoutsider.com]

Dave Matthews Band recently posted an update on their website stating that they are "currently in the studio recording a new album with [producer] Steve Lillywhite". Fourth Tomahawk Record in the Works

According to post a on his website, Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantomas) has joined Tomahawk, taking over bass duties from Kevin Rutmanis. He stated he needs to "dig into learning music for the new Tomahawk record". Let's hope that John Stanier is able to find some time away from Battles to hold it down on drums. Greg Laswell Announces Landline

The album "features collaborations with a number of well-known female singers, including Ingrid Michaelson, Sia, Elizabeth Ziman and Sara Bareilles. Our Lady Peace Announce Curve

Ben Folds Five Reunite, Recording New Album

Ben Folds Five have reunited and are currently in the studio. The group split in 2000, after releasing 1999's The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner. Folds posted a photo on Twitter late last month, reporting that the band would be in the studio until March and the album is expected in the spring. [twitter.com]
