Pinback have announced a tour throughout Feburary in continued support of Autumn Of The Seraphs. "Good To Sea" has been selected as the next single and is streaming on MySpace.

Kill Rock Stars will release a solo record from Colin Meloy, titled Colin Meloy Sings Live!, on April 8th. The 14-track album was recorded during Meloy's two-week solo tour in 2006.

Looks like all the random MySpace clips and studio news was actually leading somewhere as Portishead will release their third album, aptly titled Third, on April 29th through Mercury/Island.

South will return with You Are Here on April 15th through Young American. The group will premiere the new material at SXSW, but you can preview two new tracks at Bluhammock.

If you don't have an account on Last.fm, one of the largest social music sites, you'll probably want to go get one now. The fine folks who run the site have today announced a deal with EMI, Sony BMG, Universal, Warner and thousands of independent labels to offer free, full-length previews of any track on the site. Minneapolis' Tapes 'n Tapes have completed their sophomore album, titled Walk It Off. The record will be released on April 8th through XL. Currently, the band is planning a Spring tour, but the group will be all over SXSW in March.

Even with White Chalk still fresh in our minds, PJ Harvey has already started making plans to record another album with John Parish. The two may enter the studio later this month to begin work on a follow-up to 1996's Dance Hall At Louse Point.

As you may have heard, Nada Surf will release a new album, Lucky, on February 5th. "Show These Bones" from said album is now available as a free download from MySpace. They've also just announced a Spring tour in support of the record.

The Whigs will perform "Right Hand On My Heart" from their ATO debut, Mission Control, on Letterman on January 28th. Check out all their upcoming tour dates with Wax Fang and Spinto Band.

Jens Lekman will play 14 dates in the US beginning March 13th. Incidentally, the first show is for SXSW.

She and Him (aka Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward) will release Volume 1 through Merge on March 18th. Not a lot of "official" details yet, but you can preview some of said album on MySpace.

Clinic will return on April 8th with Do It, a new full-length. On February 1st, the first single, "Free Not Free," and b-side "Thor" will be available for free download and streaming on clinicvoot.org. Do It track list and May US tour dates after the jump.

French duo Justice have announced a North American tour with MySpace throughout March in further support of †. Diplo, Chromeo and DJ Mehdi are among the opening acts.

Merge will release If Children, the debut full-length from Wye Oak, on April 8th. The Baltimore-based duo have a few more dates this month and plan to tour the US through SXSW.

Man Man are readying a three week tour, scheduled to kick off on March 4th in Baltimore MD. The band is set to release their Anti- Records debut Rabbit Habits on April 8th.

Warp has assured fans a new Jamie Lidell album is the "pipeline" for 2008. They've posted a video of Lidell with full band working a new song to YouTube as proof.

Autechre will tour Europe and the US beginning February 29th in support of their new album, Quaristice. Details are up on MySpace.

Arts & Crafts have announced that the forthcoming album from The Stills will be released on May 27th. Watch a clip of the band in the studio at stills.net.

Tricky is reportedly set to return in April with a full-length titled Knowle West Boy. The album will be released on Tricky's own Brown Punk label.
