Just in time for the upcoming Live 8 series of concerts (and the 20th Anniversary of Wish You Were Here), Pink Floyd will be reuniting with the full lineup of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright for the London portion of the big event.

Sigur Ros are going out on tour and hitting a lot of Europe and even included little ole North America on this batch of dates. You'll still have to wait for another full-length from them but this should tide you over for the time being.
Icelandic wonder Bjork is at it again. She will be releasing music created for the soundtrack to Matthew Barneys latest film, Drawing Restraint 9 in July. The music is expected to center around the Japanese sho reed instrument as well as the recent electronic and acapella goodness that has now become the Bjork sound.

After almost 10 years together and four albums, the best looking post-hardcore band ever has decided to call it quits. As reported, all upcoming dates will be with Bella Lea and Des Ark, so be sure to get out and catch what will be a memorable and final series of shows.
He Is Legend have announced they will fill one of the opening slots on the upcoming Eighteen Visions tour this summer. The guys will still be out promoting their Tooth & Nail debut, I Am Hollywood. In related news, they've submitted the album track "The Seduction" to the {un}known Vol. 1 compilation to be released by System Recordings.
A friendly mailman just delivered some news about Omaha's Criteria. Apparently they're all set to release their second album, When We Break, on August 23rd through Saddle Creek. Not only that but the album's amazing first single, "Prevent The World," will be released on July 26th. Head over to their MySpace page to listen to the track. If you don't keep an eye on the Downloads section you'd probably miss the links to the new Dredg video for "Bug Eyes" (Real Media and Windows Media). The bands forthcoming album, Catch Without Arms, is due June 21st in stores everywhere.
Renfeld Records will be releasing a Tribute To Failure featuring the likes of Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Cave In and several more. It's unknown at this time if the tracks will be new recordings or previously released efforts (i.e. Cave In's "Magnified"). The disc is slated for a fall release.

The Mars Volta are special guests and Bad Acid Trip are the openers of the tour's first leg. Hot on the buzz of their latest album White Stripes frontman Jack White has announced that he plans to record with Brendan Benson under the moniker Raconteurs. The album is expected to be a bit more traditional (i.e. two guitars, drum, bass) and is expected sometime mid-next year.

For the avid collector, Merge Records will be releasing a 7" of the Arcade Fire song "Cold Wind" that the band contributed to the forthcoming Six Feet Under soundtrack we told you about.
Chevelle, Taproot, and 30 Seconds To Mars will be touring together starting in early July.
The Donnas, Fountains of Wayne, and Joan Jett will perform at the Nike Run Hit Wonder tour, which begins July 20th at New York's Central Park and will go to Portland, Oregon; Chicago; and Los Angeles. The tour will feature runners competing in 5 mile, 5K and 10K races, but I guess not on stage.
Interpol have recorded a new song, "Direction" for inclusion on compilation CD Six Feet Under: Everything Ends, Music From The HBO Original Series - Vol. 2, coming out on Astralwerks June 21. Also, Interpol are supporting the Pixies at Jones Beach (June 14) and are then off to the UK for stadium-style performances backing U2 and Coldplay.
