Pearl Jam have announced a North American tour in support of their forthcoming album, Backspacer, due September 20th. The tour kicks of with a two-night stop in Seattle, WA on September 21st and 22nd. Ben Harper and Relentless7 will open most dates. [pearljam.com]

A Watched Pot from Bleu

Bleu will finally release his third album, A Watched Pot, on July 14th through various retailers thanks to Artist Garage/Fontana Distribution. The album was recorded in 2005 for Aware/Columbia Records, but shelved after Bleu was dropped from the label. After a four year battle, the album is finally going to be released. [www.myspace.com]

School of Seven Bells Partners with Vagrant

The Absolute Final Nine Inch Nails Shows

Trent Reznor has announced a handful of shows in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, beginning on August 22nd, that will act as the final Nine Inch Nails live performances. The last tour with Jane's Addiction was to be the swan song, but Reznor remarked it "didn't feel right." The "unusual and unique shows" will feature "longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers, and other surprises." The Horrors and Mew are already confirmed as openers for various dates. Heartless Bastards Summer Tour

Following said tour, they'll play shows with Andrew Bird, The Decemberists and The Avett Brothers as well as make stops at Lollapalooza and All Points West. Califone Join Dead Oceans, Ready New Album

Chicago's Califone will release their next album, All My Friends Are Funeral Singers, through Dead Oceans on October 6th. The album is a companion piece to Tim Rutili's first feature film of the same name. 2006's Roots and Crowns was released on Thrill Jockey. [blogs.myspace.com]
