The Killers are set to kickoff their final US tour for Sam's Town on September 3th, with Louis XIV in tow on most dates.

We previously told you that Future of the Left, featuring former members of Mcluksy, were set to release their debut LP, Curses. We now know the album will hit the US on October 9th and you can preview several tracks on MySpace.

With the 40th anniversary of the classic Pink Floyd debut The Piper at the Gates of Dawn coming up, EMI has plans to re-issue the album on September 4th with the requisite extras—remastering, b-sides, bonus tracks, extensive liner notes. There will be 2-disc and 3-disc editions which differ slightly in content, so choose wisely.

Annuals are set to hit the road again co-headlining dates with Manchester Orchestra in October. While said tour is still in support of Be He Me, you know they're kicking around new material.

The Decemberists have announced "The Long and Short of It" US tour, stopping at least two nights in each city. The "The Long of It" nights will feature all songs longer than 8 minutes, while "The Short of It" will be everything less than. Update: Tour is canceled due to illness of an unnamed band member.

Jose Gonzalez will return on September 25th with In Our Nature, an album lauded for its accessibility and darkness. The video for the first single, "Down The Line," in now on YouTube. Jose has also scheduled some US dates in support of the record.

Art Brut will wrap up one tour, rest for a few weeks and then head out again, this time with The Hold Steady for NME’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll Riot Tour 2007”. The Brits are supporting It's a Bit Complicated, while the Brooklyn boys are pushing last year's Boys and Girls in America.

As previously reported, Cold War Kids are set to head out with The White Stripes on September 13th. The Kids have now announced their own headlining tour and expanded their Stripes stint.
