Punk rock's old dudes, Bad Religion, have revealed plans for a US tour this Fall in support of their new album, New Maps of Hell. The trek will begin on September 29th with Gallows and The Briggs as support on various dates.

Atlanta's The Coathangers will release their self-titled debut on September 4th through Rob's House Records. They're a quartet of hardcore feminists, acerbic but with a strong sense of humor, and have been drawing comparisons to early Slits.

Sigur Ros Post Heima Trailer

Sigur Ros have posted a trailer for their forthcoming documentary, Heima. The film will be released November 5th in the UK, but no US date is known. Along with the film, the group will release Hvarf-Heim, which features reworked and acoustic tracks.

Baby Elephant Says Turn My Teeth Up!

Baby Elephant is the new project from Prince Paul. The trio consists of Paul, Bernie Worrell (P-Funk, Talking Heads) and long-time partner Newkirk. The group's debut album, Turn My Teeth Up!, will hit on September 11th and features appearances from David Byrne, George Clinton and Shock G, among others.

The white-hot Almost Gold has signed UK dance act Does It Offend You, Yeah?. Their debut album will hit the US this Spring, but "Let's Make Out," featuring Death From Above 1979's Sebastian Grainger, will be released this year. Preview said track on MySpace.

Black Moth Super Rainbow Gets Reissued, Opens for Big-Timers

Black Moth Super Rainbow will see reissues of its first two EPs, Falling Through A Field and Start A People, on October 23rd with extra tracks and new cover art. The band will shortly head out on the road to support its latest, Dandelion Gum, opening quite a few shows for The Flaming Lips and Aesop Rock along the way.

Piebald Says Farewell

After 13 years, five official albums, too many shows to count, a move to the West Coast and then back to the East Coast and a hell of a lot of good times, Piebald has called it quits. The band said so on its website yesterday, and this upcoming tour will be the group's last.
