Mae has revealed some tour dates in support of their new album, Singularity. The band is also streaming their first single "Sometimes I Can't Make It Alone."
The Foo Fighters have announced the track list for their forthcoming album, Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace, which will be released on September 25th.
As you can see, Silent Uproar has re-launched with a brand new design today. Yesterday, July 5th, we celebrated 7 years of being online. Garbage are set to release a best of collection (CD and DVD) entitled, Absolute Garbage, on July 24, 2007. The CD features 17 classics along with the new song, “Tell Me Where It Hurts" while the DVD has 15 music videos, an hour of never-before-seen footage, live performances, and interviews. A special limited edition set adds a bonus disc of remixes by the likes of U.N.K.L.E., Massive Attack, Crystal Method, and others.
Listen to two new songs from the forthcoming VHS or Beta album, Bring on the Comets, over at MySpace. Look for the album in stores August 28th. A full album tracklist has also been revealed.
Stars will release a new full-length, In Our Bedroom After The War, through Arts & Crafts on September 25th. The album was recorded last year at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, BC after touring for Set Yourself On Fire ended. A tour is currently being planned for the Fall. The Verve (less Simon Tong) have reformed "for the joy of the music" and are recording together in a London studio as of last week. It appears to be one of two studio sessions, as they will complete a new full-length after a summer break. An official website, theverve.tv, has been setup to chronicle the return. So far, only 6 UK shows have been scheduled for November.

Maritime is set to release their new album, Heresy and the Hotel Choir on Flameshovel Records October 16th. The album was produced by Stuart Sikes (The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Cat Power).
Ben Kweller has confirmed summer touring plans in support of his self-titled album, Ben Kweller. A highlight of the tour will be the three dates in Brooklyn - for those shows Kweller will play each one of his records in their entirety in order: Sha Sha (7/30), On My Way (7/31) and Ben Kweller (8/1).
The Hedrons have announced their summer tour dates in support of their new album One More Won’t Kill Us, released on May 1st.
We have some more Ryan Adams tour dates in support of Easy Tiger, which hit stores last week.
They Shoot Horses Don't They dropped Pick Up Sticks, the follow-up to their debut Boo Hoo Hoo Boo, earlier this month. The album finds the band away from their "circus" sound, but still heavily relying on oddball songwriting. Grab an MP3 of "A Place Called LA" in the Downloads.
Back in April, The Bronx posted an update to their website giving details of two new albums in the works. The first self-titled release will be a "dead punk" record. The second being a mariachi album titled El Bronx. Both are looking at tentative later summer release.
Interpol have posted the new video for "The Heinrich Maneuver" from Our Love To Admire over on YouTube. Look for the album in stores July 10th.
As you might recall, Editors are set to release their new album, An End Has A Start, on July 17th. Yesterday, the band release the "Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors" EP on iTunes, backed with two additional album tracks. In September, the group will tour the US and Canada.
According to a post by Rivers Cuomo on weezer.com, "Weezer is just polishing up a batch of songs for a recording session that is going to start at the beginning of July." Are fans willing to give Rivers another chance after Make Believe? If so, the album is set for the first half of 2008.
Following up a small run earlier this year, Squirrel Nut Zippers have reunited and will tour the US throughout July and August. According to the band, after the tour, the members will "talk about some recording projects" in the Fall. No promises are being made and it doesn't look as if Tom Maxwell or Ken Mosher will be a part of the reunion efforts. Check out all the dates over on MySpace.
Zach Condon or more notably Beirut will release its sophomore album, tentatively titled The Flying Club Cup, on October 9th through Ba Da Bing! The album features string arrangements and guest vocals from Owen Pallett of Final Fantasy. Last month, Condon spoke with Pitchfork at length about the forthcoming album.
