Brooklyn's VietNam will release their self-titled Kemado debut on January 23rd. The album was produced by "Farmer Dave" Scher and features appearances from Jenny Lewis and Paz Lenchantin (Zwan, A Perfect Circle). Stream the full album via Kemado or snag "Welcome to My Room" in the Downloads.

In celebration of their recently re-released Sebadoh III album Lou Barlow and crew will be taking Sebadoh on the road. There's even talks of a brand new Sebadoh album sometime in 2007.

Dears Annuals

A Break For the Holidays

The Silent Uproar staff will be taking a break from the music world until January 2nd, 2007. This year has been good, but plans are in place to bring some much needed attention and love to this site throughout 2007. Meanwhile, Silent Uproar Records added Stemage to its roster this year, with the release of Strati (download an MP3 of "Calling The Kettle"). More SU madness in its many forms is in the works. Until then, Merry Christmas everyone and have a Happy New Year!

Mira Calix, the lovely Chantal Passamonte, will release Eyes Set Against The Sun on January 23rd through Warp. Spending the past few years writing music for art installations, dance pieces and circus performances, it's no wonder the "intimate and personal" album "breathes like an orchestra breathes." Look Mexico Announce Tour

Look Mexico have announced a string of East Coast tour dates over the coming weeks; the initial stops on the tour are with fellow Floridians Fake Problems. Look Mexico expect to see the release of a debut LP through Lujo Records in 2007.

New Dosh EP, Tour Dates

Anticon's Dosh will be self-releasing a limited edition EP on Janurary 30th (available digitally in the near future). The 8-track disc includes four tracks recorded live at The Triple Rock in Minneapolis, and another set of four songs dedicated to the artist's late cat Henderson. Some tour dates have also been announced.

Now the band is gearing up to unveil their next album, Neon Bible, on the world.
