Warp Records is doing Broadcast fans a solid, by announcing plans to release classic various, rare Broadcast tracks from the Pendulum EP, Extended Play release, We Are Reasonable People, ATP 01, Echo's Answer and Come On Let's Go as one compilation. The set will be titled The Future Crayon and should drop August 22nd.

The Paper Chase Release New Album, Tour

Well, they've since released Now You Are One of Us last week through Kill Rock Stars and now their taking the show on the road all across half of the US. El-P Enlists Trent Reznor, The Mars Volta

According to a post on his MySpace page, it looks as if Def Jux mastermind El-P has enlisted the help of both Trent Reznor (on the track "Flyentology") and The Mars Volta for his upcoming full-length, currently titled I'll Sleep When You're Dead. A release date has yet to be confirmed.

Greedy Baby Preview

The upcoming CD/DVD doublepack release from Plaid and Bob Jaroc, titled Greedy Baby, has been pushed back until August 21st for the US. Luckily, in this digital age, you can already download the tracks "Super Positions" and "Caretstik" from Bleep.com. Furthermore, Warp Records has posted a proper preview of the release (with free video downloads).

Daytrotter brings you treats

If you haven't checked out Daytrotter yet, we suggest you do so now. Bands like Sunset Rubdown (Wolf Parade related if you did not know), Hockey Night, Catfish Haven and many more record four songs in a Chicago studio and release them exclusively on the site. The Sunset Rubdown tracks featured there now contain a never before recorded version of "Wicked/Winged Things."

Snow Patrol considers it a snow day

News From The Working Title

The Working Title have pushed back the release of About-Face to 7/18, but in the meantime, the band will take to the roads to build up a buzz for their debut. Dates with mewithoutYou and Unwed will take the band through the first week of next month, shortly before embarking on a massive stadium tour with the Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows.

Psapp, Jose Gonzalez, Juana Molina Tour

Psapp, Jose Gonzalez and Juana Molina are all set to head out on a US through from June 16th until July 7th. The tour, which has its own ecard where you can preview the artists' newest material, is set to only hit "major markets." Translation: they aren't coming anywhere near the Southeast. What? We can't handle two Brits, a Swede and an Argentine?

Manoman Black Dice Love Gore

Brooklyn-based Black Dice will release three new songs, "Manoman," "Gore," and "Toka Toka," on the Manoman 12" through DFA Records on July 25th. Reportedly, the songs reflect a refining of the "industrial beat-driven" sound of Broken Ear Record. In addition, Dice and photographer-friend Jason Frank Rothenberg have assembled a book entitled Gore. All the Gore-y details (sorry I couldn't resist) can be found at Picturebox, Inc.

East West Records will release the new Lucero album, Rebels, Rogues and Sworn Brothers, on September 26th. The disc that we've been telling you about was produced by David Lowery and should continue in the alt-country vein Lucero is known best for. Tracklisting to be revealed at a later date.

The new video for "I Will Follow You In The Dark" from Death Cab For Cutie is available now to stream from Yahoo! Music (tomorrow it will be available on the Death Cab website). If you'd like to check out some live, acoustic performances and interview clips, check out Ben Gibbard and Chris Walla over at Sessions at AOL. Lastly, Death Cab has issued a few more late-summer dates, in addition to the California shows with Spoon and Mates of State.
