We happened upon the tracklist for the upcoming album from The Bronx, so we thought we'd share. Also, even though the full album has been pushed back to July 18th (thanks a lot, Island), plans are to still set for White Drugs to release the vinyl LP June 6th.

Gnarls Barkley To Hit Stateside

Gnarls Barkley will begin their US assault on May 24th with a performance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The appearance will, no doubt, serve to ring in the release of their debut album, St. Elsewhere, on May 9th. Head over to MySpace to hear "Crazy" and three other album tracks.

Psapp Sign To Domino

Domino Records recently announced the signing of London-based duo Psapp (currently best known for "Cosy in the Rocket," which is used for the Grey's Anatomy titles). Their US debut, The Only Thing I Ever Wanted, will hit stores sometime this June. If you've any interest, listen to a few songs over on their MySpace page. It's possible to catch Psapp live at one their two US dates this month, but they've started to release a string of tour dates for June and July.

New Sensations

Singer/guitarist Greg Loiacono, best known for his frontline role in The Mother Hips, has joined forces with bassist Paul Hoaglin (Mother Hips) and drummer Todd Roper (ex-Cake) to form Sensations. The band aims to "rescue pop music from the slagheap of today's charts, returning it to the cerebrally breezy tradition of the Kinks & Hollies." Their debut album, Listen To My Shapes, will be released on May 23rd and was recorded at Hoaglin's house on an old 8-track tape machine "with a ghost in it." Check out some samples in the Downloads.

Mike Park Tour Dates

Asian Man Records owner and peace activist Mike Park will be doing a few shows throughout April before he heads overseas for some dates. He's sticking exclusively to the extreme western part of the US, but will more than likely do a national tour sometime this year.

Illinois extras

Seeing as how Sufjan Stevens album Illinois topped pretty much every tastemakers best-of list for 2005 it pretty much makes perfect sense that Asthmatic Kitty will be releasing The Avalanche: Outtakes and Extras from the Illinois Album (aka The Avalanche). As the title suggests it features extras and outtakes from the Illinois album. Look for the disc on July 25th.

Blood on the Wall tour with YYY

We already told you about the upcoming Yeah Yeah Yeahs tour but failed to mention that Blood On The Wall will serve as their opening act for the first leg of the North American tour. Once Karen O. and crew head over sea's Blood On The Wall will continue onward touring with Psychic Ills. A treat all around.

The Robot Ate Me finds the Good World

Following up on the success of Carousel Waltz, The Robot Ate Me will release Good World on June 6th via 5RC. From the looks of the tracklisting the disc is going to be weird one - hopefully on par with On Vacation. You can download Djien on our Downloads page and if you like it, go see the band on tour.

Elefant are returning to the road with a headlining club tour that begins May 3rd at The Social in Orlando, Florida. Openers include Sound Team, Aberdeen City, Voxtrot, and Silversun Pickups. The band will be touring in support of their new album, The Black Magic Show, which streets on April 18th.

More Pearl Jam Dates

Pearl Jam announced today the second leg of their 2006 U.S. tour in support of their new, self-titled album due out May 2nd. Leg two is scheduled to kick off on June 23 in Pittsburgh, PA and will finish on July 22 in George, WA. This time the band will be bringing Sonic Youth along, as well as Tom Petty on select dates.
