The single is available as a download and limited edition signed 7” vinyl, and is the first single from their forthcoming album, 96 Hours, due for release in the Fall. Moby: Live. The Hotel Tour 2005

Moby is set ot release Moby: Live. The Hotel Tour 2005 DVD in stores on April 18th. Recording during the Hotel tour in 2005, the DVD features classic Moby tracks live as well as the videos and two bonus films, unavailable elsewhere. The DVD comes backed with an exclusive remix CD featuring tracks from the latest album Hotel remixed by, amongst others, Mylo, Tiga, Steve Angello, Booka Shade and Axwell (full tracklisting below). The live DVD, recorded at Brabathalle, Leuven in May 2005 and directed by George Scott features Moby performing with his band. Lots of details below.

Return of World Party

World Party, the melodic, sharp-witted UK band led by Karl Wallinger is back. The band will be releasing Dumbing Up on Wallinger’s new label, Seaview Records. Wallinger has also regained control of his catalog and will be re-releasing remastered versions of Private Revolution and Goodbye Jumbo on April 4th, followed by Bang! and Egyptology on June 6th.

Panic! On the Road

Fresh from a sold-out nationwide run with The Academy Is..., Panic! At the Disco have announced their first US headlining tour. The two-month string of dates, which kicks off June 6 in Tucson, AZ, will also feature the Dresden Dolls and the Hush Sound. Ok Go will support on select dates. Presale begins Wednesday, April 5th, with most dates going on sale next weekend. More dates to be announced soon.

Sparta In The Studio

To recap: Sparta signed to Hollywood Records, added Keeley Davis (Engine Down) to the lineup and released a few podcasts to document the whole adventure. Currently, the band have begun recording in an Los Angeles studio with producer Dave Bassett. A September 26th release date has been scheduled for the Hollywood debut.

Vendetta Red Call It A Day

Vendetta Red have called it quits. In a post on their MySpace blog, the band explained, "it's time to put Vendetta Red to bed. We have had a fantastic run and had an amazing time." If you're in the area, catch the final show April 8th at El Corazon in their hometown, Seattle, WA.

Helmet Sign To Warcon, Begin Writing

Alt-metal troubadours Helmet (well, basically just Page Hamilton) has inked a deal with Warcon, a label owned by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman. The current lineup will hit the studio with producer Wharton Tiers later this year. Hamilton and Tiers plan to record the album analog, with same tape machine they used to record Strap It On and Meantime. The result should resemble "that classic Helmet sound."

Warped Tour 2006

The Warped Tour machine is gearing up for its 2006 run. The tour route has been set, beginning on June 16th in Columbia, MD and ending August 14th in Montreal. As for the tour roster, expect sets from the likes of Helmet, Against Me!, Every Time I Die, Mute Math, The Living End, The Germs and Valient Thorr, among others. The Bronx Return This Summer

LA's The Bronx will release their self-titled, sophmore effort on July 18th through Island. With a running time a mere three minutes longer than their debut self-titled, it doesn't seem like they've slowed it down any. The first single (whatever it may be) will be released on June 6th, 2006 (also known as 666). If you'd like to catch up further, check out this recent MTV article featuring the band.
