Oxford Collapse Heads Up and Out

Oxford Collapse has announced that they've just hopped on board with Sub Pop. After last year's stellar A Good Ground on Kanine Records, the group obviously pulled quite a bit of attention their way for that label change. They're on the road, too, with friends The Joggers and Part Chimp.

Tapes N' Tapes tour Austin

It appears that Tapes n' Tapes are going on tour in support of their album The Loon (available now on their website) but of the 17 shows they have announced 6 of them are in Austin during SXSW. If this is not a good enough recommendation that this is a band you should check out, I'm not sure what ever could be.

Broken Boy Soldier details

The upcoming release from The Raconteurs, Broken Boy Soldiers, has an official tracklisting now for it's May 16th release. Hopefully by now you know that The Raconteurs is the moniker for the collaborative efforts of Jack White and Brendan Benson. The band will also have a video for "Steady, As She Goes" in the not too distant future.

It is so undeniable, in fact, that the band has released a new album of 13-songs entitled Long Dry Cold available for purchase from their label or from their MySpace page.
