Feist and Jamie Lidell

Reported by yewknee

We don't have any solid details on the outcome of this but it appears that Feist has been recording new material with none other than Jamie Lidell. Strange to hear of a Broken Social Scenester branching out beyond the group but in this case it's a collaboration we can get behind. Demo's of the sessions are supposedly floating around this internet of ours entitled "The Red Demos."

Just a heads up that Beck rumors are starting to float around that he may release a new album this year, despite having just release Guero and Guerolito. Supposedly this album was recorded in a weeks time with producer Nigel Godrich before he hit the studio to record Guero. So far, these rumors are unconfirmed.

So why not compile a bunch of those together and release them on iTunes? That's the idea behind Intron, the 'virtual album' consisting mostly of remixes. Look for it on iTunes starting March 14.
