To celebrate the 24 years together as a trio, the Beastie Boys will be releasing a greatest hits album entitled Solid Gold Hits. There's no official tracklisting for it yet but since it's only going to be 15-tracks you can pretty much guess what will be on it.

Scratch that - we meant just NIN

The upcoming Voodoo Music Festival that we've been talking about has been moved from its New Orleans location and will now be held in Memphis on Oct. 28-30. That's great but now the only confirmed act to play is Nine Inch Nails - the rest still have yet to confirm. Keep an eye on the official site if you're interested in attending.

In case you're a fan of They Might Be Giants but can't quite keep up with the absolute onslaught of material they release for purchase on their website you may want to wait until October 25th and pick up the b-sides compilation They Got Lost (which is, surprisingly, just one disc).

Frou Frou frontwoman Imogen Heap will release her highly regarded new album, Speak For Yourself in U.S. stores on November 1. The release will include a limited edition, three fold digi pack that has been completely designed by Imogen. The video for the first single, "Speak For Yourself", is available in the downloads.

25th Anniversary of 4AD Shows and CD

In London beginning on November 17th, there will be a series of live performances spread over 10 nights to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of 4AD. Highlights include: TV On The Radio, The Breeders, Kristin Hersh, The Mountain Goats, Blonde Redhead, and appearances by artists new to the label which are yet to be announced. To coincide with the shows, 4AD will release a compilation album titled “1980 Forward” that explores the highways and byways of the label's 25 year history. The US release date for the album is November 22nd. More info below.

Bullet In a Green Bible

Green Day is set to release a live concert DVD this fall entitled Bullet In A Bible. The disc will hit stores November 15th on CD/DVD, UMD for PSP and other digital formats. Directed by Samuel Bayer, director of all the videos off American Idiot, Bullet In A Bible documents the two biggest shows that Green Day has headlined in their career, playing to over 130,000 people at London’s Milton Keynes National Bowl on June 11th and 12th of this year.
