I think Richard Gervase (The Office) said it best when he remarked basically that if Coldplay won, they'd probably blow the prize money on lunch.

He hopes to define a new genre of film called "horripliation." Expect to see monkeys on fire, lesbian Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and other various somewhat predictably shocking images.

The Weezer / Foo Fighters co-headlining tour has been confirmed. The first few cities have been trickling in but without a lot of specific dates and venues quite yet. The Kaiser Chiefs are expected to open the show but a revolving cast of different artists wouldn't be too far from left field either.
