If you've been planning to visit London anytime soon, may I suggest December 2nd - 4th? That just so happens to be the next All Tomorrow's Party, curated by The Mars Volta. Expect to catch the likes of The Locust, The Kills, Blonde Redhead, Battles, Les Savy Fav, and The Fucking Champs among many others. Keep an eye on the official site for the full lineup.

Men, Women & Children First

Men, Women & Children, the new project from ex-Glassjaw guitarist Todd Weinstock, is nearing completion of their first album. The band is currently back in New York and have to plans to mix the album and then begin rehearsal for a tentative Fall tour. Take Your Meds

A while back we told you the new Medications album, Your Favorite People All In One Place, would be out May 31st. Obviously this isn't true, because we'd all have the album by now. So, according to Dischord, you can pick up the album from your local shop on June 14th. Head over to the official website to preview "Twine Time" from the upcoming full-length. Lastly, those previously mentioned June tour dates with Mary Timony have also been updated through June 26th.

Buffering Content... Please Wait

You can say alot about them but you can't say the Gorillaz aren't innovative. Starting June 6th the band will start a virtual tour of radio stations across the country. Basically this means on X date you go to a certain radio stations website and listen to the band play some live songs, do interviews, etc. Will it all be pre-recorded and canned humor? There's only one way to find out....

Rilo Kiley sign to WB

I swore this was incredibly old news but apparently it's 100% official now that Rilo Kiley has signed to Warner Bros. Their latest release, More Adventurous was distributed by WB but the band wasn't actually signed to their artist roster. Plans are motion now to re-release their album "properly" and promote the hell out of it. We'll see how that pans out...

When we told you about Sparta member Paul Hinojos departing from the band we thought that was the end of it. Apparently not. Paul has officially joined the ranks of The Mars Volta and will be doing his part as "off-stage sound manipulator."

Strange band names attract

Rough Trade Records will release the debut from Brakes on July 4th (in the UK at least). The 16-track political-yet-satirical disc was written by (and consists of) members of British Sea Power, Electric Soft Parade, and Tenderfoot.

Strokes make headway on 3rd disc

NIN / QOTSA tour gets opener?

According to their official site, it appears that Autolux will be the opening band for at least part of the upcoming Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age tour of North America. It's likely there will be an alternate opening act but no concrete details have been announced quite yet.
