The Tron: Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk will be released digitally on November 22nd December 7th through Disney. Last year, the Beastie Boys were set to release a new album, Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 1. The record was postponed due to Adam Yauch being diagnosed with cancer of the salivary gland. Maybe we're overreaching with this one, but we might see that album in December. A recent blog post on Mic to Mic reports Yauch is "cured like ham" and recently celebrated in Venice. According to New York Magazine, Jason Schwartzman is currently writing songs for a third Coconut Records album in L.A. with producer Woody Jackson. The new material might be "painfully slow," but it's "never been happier." [nymag.com]

As reported, Nicole Atkins is now part of the Razor & Tie family and will release a new album in January 2011. Earlier this week, Robin Pecknold reported on Facebook that Fleet Foxes have finished recording their second full-length. In a recent interview with Spin, Maynard James Keenan revealed he's working on a Puscifer DVD of "new and old comedy skits" and "live performance footage" to be released in early 2011.
