Icelandic, neo-classical composer Ólafur Arnalds will release Found Songs through Erased Tapes on November 10th. The project found Arnalds recording a song a day for seven days, releasing each track instantly via Twitter (with fan art posted on Flickr). In a blog post, Billy Corgan revealed recording for the new Smashing Pumpkins album, titled Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, began on September 15th. Moreover, Corgan reported the album will contain 44 songs and be given away digitally a song at a time. Eleven "highly limited edition EP's" will be created grouping four songs at a time. According to Brooklyn Vegan, the oft-rumored Pavement reunion may actually be taking place in 2010. "Reliable sources" confirmed the band for Central Park Summerstage in September 2010.
