Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris of Joy Division and New Order have formed a new band with Alex James of Blur. The new group, Bad Lieutenant, have a debut album in the tank and are looking to release it in October. [news.bbc.co.uk]

Monsters of Folk

According to Relix, Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst and M. Ward will release a collaborative album under the moniker Monsters of Folk on September 22nd. The trio, who first toured together in 2004, worked with producer Mike Mogis on the album. [www.relix.com]

A Possible Future for At The Drive-In

In a Drowned In Sound interview supporting Octahedron from The Mars Volta, Cedric Bixler-Zavala remarked on the current state of At The Drive-In. Bixler-Zavala said, "we've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them...we'll see what happens." De La Soul Recording You're Welcome

According to The Music Mix, De La Soul are currently back at work on You're Welcome, the proper follow up to 2004's Grind Date. Blueprint 3 from Jay-Z
