The Breeders will return with Mountain Battles through 4AD on April 8th. The album, produced by Steve Ablini and a slew of other folk, is the same "bittersweet electricity" we've come to know and love.

According to our friends at The Tripwire, Maximo Park has teamed up with my beer of choice, Newcastle, for a special brew of beer. The band's beer will be called Maximo Brown Ale and, starting December 15th, it will be available at various UK bars. That is the same day the guys will be playing the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
