It seems is Modest Mouse has no intent on leaving the road anytime soon. After a massive Summer/Fall tour, the band has just announced even more dates for this Winter. It's all in support of their latest album, We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank.

Eric Clapton is set to release Complete Clapton - a 2-disc career-spanning album - on October 9, 2007, the same day as he drops Clapton, The Autobiography into bookstores. This will be the first time the full breadth of Clapton's musical works are contained in one set (Cream, Blind Faith, and solo material are included).

Dead Meadow Returns with Old Growth

Matador have hinted at a February 4th, 2008 to release for the forthcoming Dead Meadow album, Old Growth. Though, the 5th would be more likely for the US. This, reportedly, "astonishingly powerful" album is said to match the intensity of their live shows.
