Beastie Boys Plan Vocal Mix-Up, New Album

Following this summer's The Mix-Up, The Beastie Boys are moving forward with plans to release a version with guest vocals. Among the candidates are M.I.A., Lily Allen, Jarvis Cocker and "a bunch of [other] British people," according to Adam Yauch. The B-Boys have also begun work on a proper follow-up album for To The 5 Boroughs.

Lenny Kravitz Incites Love Revolution

On February 5th, Lenny Kravitz will return with his eighth album, It's Time for a Love Revolution. Kravitz is back in old form, playing nearly all the instruments and going for a "live" feel in the studio. A few club gigs are in the works and will precede a full tour.

Oslo will return with their sophmore album, The Rise And Fall Of Love And Hate, on October 23rd. The album was co-produced by Sam Fogarino of Interpol, who in turn plays drums on a few tracks. Appearances also include Adrian Young from No Doubt, Paz Lenchantin and Melissa Auf Der Maur.
