The Veils new album Nux Vomica is now out in the US and the band have scheduled a tour, beginning August 13th, throughout North America.

As you know, Challengers from The New Pornographers will hit stores on August 21st though Matador. The group have now announced a tour in support of the album, beginning September 13th.

The Weakerthans will launch a US trek on September 25th in Minneapolis, the same day that their new album, Reunion Tour hits stores. Dates below:

According to Filter, The Coral will release their latest album Roots and Echoes in the US on August 7th as a digital-only release. The band will also hit the road for a month-long US tour supporting the Arctic Monkeys.

In October, Justice is bringing the French dance scene to the US and supporting their new album, †, at the same time.

Against Me! recently filmed a live performance at Spin Magazine's Music For Life show. You can check out video of the band playing the song "Thrash Unreal" over at spin.com.

The Go! Team are set to kick off an American tour in mid-October to support the release of their new album, Proof of Youth. Look for that to hit stores on September 11th.

SU favorites and good friends The Avett Brothers have announced a slew of tour dates for this month.

Animal Collective are back on September 11th with Strawberry Jam from Domino Records. The Collective will tour on the record this Fall, from September 5th through October 1st.

While you may have missed Peter Bjorn & John in the States this month, the band will be back for a full run in September. So don't fret.

Minus The Bear returns on August 21st with their new full-length, Planet of Ice. The band have scheduled a full tour in support of the release.

Now that And Now That I'm In Your Shadow has had its time in the limelight, Damien Jurado is returning to a Seattle's Avast! Studio with producer Casey Foubert (Pedro the Lion, Crystal Skulls) to work on a follow-up. Jurado will no doubt preview some this new material on his upcoming stint with Okkervil River.

Mobius Band have revealed their new album, Heaven, will be out on October 2nd through Misra/Ghostly. They've also revealed the track list for the 10-song album.

Following the release of Secrets of the Lost Satellite, Ken Andrews has announced the "Never Say Never Tour" with fellow Dinosaur Fight Records artist Charlotte Martin.

Serj Tankian of System of a Down will release his solo debut, Elect The Dead, on October 23rd. The first preview, "The Unthinking Majority," can be found on serjtankian.com.

On October 23rd, Black Dice will return with a new full-length, Load Blown, through Paw Tracks. In related, news Eric Copeland of Black Dice will release his solo effort of "sound dynamics," Hermaphrodite, through the same label on August 14th.

Cat Power will release her second covers record, aptly titled Covers Record 2, in January. Apparently, with around 24 tracks to choose from, this may be a two volume release.

Kurt Cobain About A Son, the "moving portrait" of the Nirvana frontman, will see a US release the AFI Film Festival in November. Barsuk will release the soundtrack of the same name on September 11th. The CD does not contain music from Nirvana, but audio excerpts from the film (pulled from taped interviews for Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana). Artists featured on the soundtrack included Ben Gibbard, Arlo Guthrie, Bad Brains, and David Bowie, among others. Find more information about the film on Sidetrack Films.

Travis Morrison is ready to release All Y'All on August 21st through Barsuk. The album features the Hellfighters as backing band and was produced by former Dismemberment Plan bandmate Jason Caddell. Check out the track list after the jump and stream the entire album on travismorrison.com.

Mekons return on August 21st with Natural, "a celebration of ritual, paganism and sacrifice" and their 30th anniversary record. The group will head out on tour in September.
