Memphis have announced a summer release date for A Little Place in the Wilderness. The LP from Canadian/American duo Torq Campbell and Chris DuMont will be out June 19th on Good Fences, plus new shows announced in support.

Q And Not Georgie James

When Q And Not U disbanded in 2005, drummer John Davis turned to his singer-songwriter friend, Laura Burhenn, to forge something new. The result is Georgie James, and the bands debut album should be released later in 2007. Two of the songs from the album, "Need Your Needs" and "Cake Parade," were released as a single on Laboratory Records in February 2007. Check below for some tour dates:

Full Year Zero Stream From Nine Inch Nails

Head over to yearzero.nin.com and stream the forthcoming Nine Inch Nails album, Year Zero, in its entirety. You can also grab the Garage Band files for "Survivalism" to "completely reconstruct / deconstruct" the track. According to nin.com, all the tracks from Year Zero will be released in this way over the coming months. As previously reported, Year Zero is due out April 17th, packed with 24-page booklet.

Robbers on High Street ready Grand release

The official follow-up to the The Fatalist And Friends EP from Robbers on High Street will be entitled Grand Animals and should hit store shelves on July 10th. The album was produced by Italian composer Daniele Luppi and lead singer Ben Trokan says "I think it's the best sounding stuff we've done."

TMBG or Else

It's been three years since They Might Be Giants released an album of non-childrens music (assuming you don't count their podcasts) but that run will come to an end on July 10th when the band releases The Else. The album was partially produced by The Dust Brothers and should be featured quite heavily on their upcoming May tour dates.

The Weakerthans Get Locked Down

Surrounded by slaughterhouses, industrial sites and sub-degree temperatures, The Weakerthans will hash out over five years worth of material they have written for the follow-up to 2003’s excellent Reconstruction Site.

Silverchair and the Young Modern

Silverchair recently released a brand new full-length, Young Modern, outside the US to much acclaim. The album was recorded with producer Nick Launay and features string arrangements from Van Dyke Parks (The Beach Boys). Stream the entire album over on chairpage.com. A US release is in the works.

Tegan and Sara and Chris

The fifth studio album by Tegan and Sara, The Con, is scheduled for a July 24th release. Co-produced by Christopher Walla with Tegan Quin and Sara Quin, the record was cut in Portland, Oregon at Walla's Alberta Court studio. They also collaborated with Death Cab's Jason McGerr on drums along with AFI's Hunter Burgan and The Rentals’ Matt Sharp both on bass. Tegan and Sara will take their show on the road with a special series of intimate performances in July and August, before embarking on a national theatre tour in October.
