Seattle psychedelic metal quartet Lesbian will release their debut Power Hör sometime this spring. The record was produced by Randall Dunn (who's worked with Sunn0))) and Boris), and will be out on the Holy Mountain label.

The Proverbial Music News Bomb Drop

In the January/February issue of Magnet Magazine Kevin Shields reports that there will indeed be another record released from My Bloody Valentine and he didn't mean the fabled boxset. There is no title, no release date, and probably no songs even written for it yet but the notion is out there that the band will be recording another disc at some point in the future. Trans Am's Sex Change

Trans Am will release Sex Change through Thrill Jockey on February 20th. The record's release will be followed by a handful of shows, and a more lengthy tour is set to kick off in April with Zombi, Black Taj and Psychic Paramount.

Division Day's Six Day Tour

Division Day has about a week's worth of shows coming up with Great Northern up and down the West Coast. The band also plans on doing a Monday night residency throughout February at the Spaceland venue in Los Angeles--four shows for free!

Eno teams with Spore

It was announced today that ambient legend Brian Eno would be doing the musical score for the upcoming EA Games release Spore. Eno demonstrated some software entitled "The Shuffler" that takes elements of the Spore soundtrack and creates a dynamic score - never repeating itself twice.

Annuals release UK EP, downloads commence

We already told you that Annuals were going on tour with The Dears but now we've learned that they'll then be joining Aqueduct in another trek across the country. As if that weren't enough the band also plans to release a 5-song EP in the UK entitled Big Zeus, some of which you can already preview.

Grizzly Bear Tour

Grizzly Bear will be hitting the road starting in February and bringing the sounds of Yellow House to the masses. If the band doesn't happen to be hitting your town you may want to make due by downloading this mash of the song "The Knife" with the band The Knife. And if that's not enough we hear there are some other remixes floating around worth procuring.

Slowcore trio Low will release Drums and Guns on March 20th via Sub Pop. The disc was produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Sleater Kinney) and is the first to feature new bassist Matt Livingston. The band will hit the road shortly after the albums release throughout the West and East coasts.
