Burden Brothers Time

The Burden Brothers are set to release their new album, Mercy, on October 31st and I couldn't be more excited. In case you are unfamiliar, the band features ex-Toadies leader Vaden Todd Lewis and drummer Taz Bentley (Reverend Horton Heat, Izzy Stradlin). Produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The Shins, U2, Beck, Hole), the album is sure to rock your face off.

First, on September 25th, the band will perform on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic at 10:00am PST. You can tune into the show on kcrw.com. Second, the band will tape a peformance for Late Night with Conan O'Brien on release day, October 3rd.

The U.S. vs. John Lennon

Capitol Records will release the original soundtrack album to the feature length documentary film, The U.S. vs. John Lennon on September 26th. The soundtrack collects songs like “Imagine,” “Nobody Told Me,” “Instant Karma (We All Shine On),” “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” and “Power To The People,” as well as two previously unreleased tracks, "Attica State” and the film’s instrumental version of "How Do You Sleep.” The CD and digital album packaging will include a liner notes essay written by Yoko Ono Lennon.
