As you may remember, mewithoutYou have completed work on their third full-length. The new record is titled Brother, Sister and will see a release on September 26th. You can preview the track "Nice and Blue (pt. Two)" and peruse upcoming tour dates at Purevolume.
The upcoming VICE release of the debut from Favourite Sons, Down Beside Your Beauty, is still slated for a September 12th release, but now the band has announced a handfull of tour dates to go along with it. If you're still not sure what you think of the band, go preview the entire album here.
The Frames are set to release their new full-length, The Cost, on September 22nd (only in Ireland). The rest of Europe, Australia and the US will get the album in February 2007. Head over to the band's Myspace page to hear the title track and "Falling Slowly." A single for "Falling Slowly" will be released on September 1st, backed with the non-album track "No More I Love You's" (not a Eurythmics cover, we're told).

Astralwerks will release Inside In/Inside Out, the debut full-length from Brighton's The Kooks, on October 3rd. The album's gone platinum twice over in the UK, but there's no telling how it'll do here. Watch the video for "Eddie's Gun" in the Downloads.

In case you didn't know, sunshine pop extraordinaires The Monkees just had their first two albums reissued as a celebration of its 40th anniversary by Rhino Records. Of course, The Monkees and More of the Monkees aren't straight-forward re-releases, but they're getting the normal Rhino treatment of added rarities and alternate mixes. Check out the e-card here.
