As you may remember, mewithoutYou have completed work on their third full-length. The new record is titled Brother, Sister and will see a release on September 26th. You can preview the track "Nice and Blue (pt. Two)" and peruse upcoming tour dates at Purevolume.

The upcoming VICE release of the debut from Favourite Sons, Down Beside Your Beauty, is still slated for a September 12th release, but now the band has announced a handfull of tour dates to go along with it. If you're still not sure what you think of the band, go preview the entire album here.

The Frames are set to release their new full-length, The Cost, on September 22nd (only in Ireland). The rest of Europe, Australia and the US will get the album in February 2007. Head over to the band's Myspace page to hear the title track and "Falling Slowly." A single for "Falling Slowly" will be released on September 1st, backed with the non-album track "No More I Love You's" (not a Eurythmics cover, we're told).

Of Montreal have posted a new video for their song "Wraith Pinned To The Mist and Other Games" viewable right here. The band is also out on tour with Grand Buffet, so be sure to go eat some Outback Steakhouse and go see them live.

Astralwerks will release Inside In/Inside Out, the debut full-length from Brighton's The Kooks, on October 3rd. The album's gone platinum twice over in the UK, but there's no telling how it'll do here. Watch the video for "Eddie's Gun" in the Downloads.

Warp Record's Clark is counting down to the release of his new album, Body Riddle, with a new website. More than just any run-of-the-mill album site, Clark is giving away album track reworks at throttleclark.com until the release on October 3rd. First up is a collaboration with Broadcast.

Mobius Band self-leaked a new demo, "A Hint Of Blood," to Stereogum last week. The release of the impressive, new track is no doubt to kick up interest in their upcoming Fall tour with Baby Dayliner.

Starting September 18th, Art Brut will be back the United States and this time around they will be co-headlining with Silent Uproar favorites, We Are Scientists.

Jose Gonzalez will embark on a lengthy little touring stretch starting tomorrow. Initially, he'll be opening and collaborating with Zero 7, then breaking off to finish the trek alone, all in support of the Mute Records release Veneer. In case you didn't know, sunshine pop extraordinaires The Monkees just had their first two albums reissued as a celebration of its 40th anniversary by Rhino Records. Of course, The Monkees and More of the Monkees aren't straight-forward re-releases, but they're getting the normal Rhino treatment of added rarities and alternate mixes. Check out the e-card here.

In support of her forthcoming solo album Emily Haines will be playing some shows sans-Metric. Her album Knives Don't Have Your Back is still slated for a September 26th release.

A handful of new Fall Sparta tour dates have leaked out, including a run with Sound Team and Lola Ray from September 28th to October 17th. Sparta will now release Threes on October 24th, as the date was pushed back two weeks..

One half of French duo AIR, JD Dunkel, has gone off on his own with a solo release under the moniker Darkel. You can preview a handful of the tracks here or visit the fairly amusing website here. The disc hits shelves on September 19th.
