We know that the next Cursive album is entitled Happy Hollow and should be released on August 15th (via Saddle Creek of course). Although, before that happens the band plans to hit the road and test out the material. Many more tour dates are expected after the album release.

Ken Andrews starts new project; still no output

Ken Andrews announced the formation of Dinosaur Fight Records - a new label outting that is planning to release the latest from Charlotte Martin, Los Angeles Digital Noise Academy (2007), and a possible new solo release from Ken himself (also 2007). The label can be found here but there isn't much to see quite yet, just a heads up that it exists.

Thom Yorke Is... The Eraser

This is sure to be everywhere come Monday, but Thom Yorke sent a message out to W.A.S.T.E. last night revealing details of The Eraser. It's a project featuring "more beats & electronics" he recently completed with producer Nigel Godrich and should be out July 11th on XL Recordings (according to Pitchfork). New Zero 7 On The Way

June 6th will see the release of The Garden, the latest from Atlantic Records recording artist Zero 7. Following up 2004's When it Falls the record features Jose Gonzalez and Sia Furler as guests, and boasts the notable Phil Brown on mixing board duties. The Bronx Announce West Coast Tour

The Bronx have mapped out a West Coast tour with Priestess, Riverboat Gamblers and Wires on Fire in tow. Now, there's no telling whether this is total shit or the truth, but the band reportedly will present selected dates in "Bronx-O-Vision" (aka in 3D, with glasses for $1). Of course, this all could just hint at Matt Caughthran getting even more "interactive" with the crowd than he usual does. Don't forget, all this business is in preparation for their upcoming album.

My Morning Jacket Go Symphonic

On June 21st and 22nd, My Morning Jacket will partake in the "Pops on the Edge" series with The Boston Pops at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA. The show will consist of a set of "symphonic classics followed by a one hour set with My Morning Jacket." You can order tickets from the BSO website.

Audioslave Complete New Album

One of the only supergroups to stay a group, Audioslave, has completed work on their 3rd album, Revelations. The set will now be released through Epic and is reportedly "a rock record with a funky bottom." Head over to Rolling Stone to read an interview with the group (and here's another).

No Rest 'Til Nihon

In addition to all other business they've got going on, The Life And Times have been spreading the love even further across the globe. Epley and crew have contributed three new songs to a split 10" with Spain's Nueva Vulcano, to be released through Trece Grabaciones sometime in June. As well, they've loaned the song "Catching Crumbs" to Smile Time for a Muscular Dystrophy benefit compilation, which will also include tracks from Xiu Xiu, Cursive and Deerhoof. And they're still touring like madmen.

The Obliterati

We've learned the new album from Mission Of Burma, The Obliterati, will now be released on May 23rd. The album is now said to be packed with a 4-song DVD from a live performance in 2004. The first single, "2wice," is available in the Downloads or over on the band's new Wiki-based website (where they are streaming more songs from the album). Last but not least, we've also hunted down the tracks for you fine folks.

Muse Ready Black Holes And Revelations

Despite early reports, it appears Muse plan to release their new album, Black Holes And Revelations, on July 3rd (UK). The first single will now be "Supermassive Black Hole" and will be available digitally June 12th and in stores June 19th (both in the UK, too). If you're sneaky enough, you can hear the new track, which is quite a departure for the band. Unfortunately, no confirmed US release dates just yet.
