Field Music just released their self-titled debut here in the states but they've already got a sophomore effort lined up for release in the UK entitled Tones of Town set for release on September 19th. No US release date is set yet but it will likely be awhile.

Still Living At the End

The Living End has signed on with Adeline Records in the US and will release their new record, State Of Emergency, July 11th through East West. The band is confirmed for three weeks of Warped Tour in July followed by a US headlining tour in August.

Hot Chip Issue A Warning

Hot Chip are set to release their sophomore effort, Warning, in the US on June 13th through Astralwerks. The single "Boy From School" will be out May 8th (UK), so maybe snag an import or digital verisions from their shop. After all, they've included 4 b-sides across the the various release formats.

Red Hot Stadium Tour

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced summer and fall tour dates supporting Stadium Arcadium, which hits stores May 9th. The double album contains 28 new tracks and you can expect a slew of new songs and all your old favorites in the band’s setlists this summer. Oh and you can now preview Stadium Arcadium here.

Beastie Boys' own Ad Rock has just confirmed he will be among the contributors to the upcoming Measles Mumps Rubella remix single, "Dynamic Disaster" due out this summer. In addition, Measles Mumps Rubella will be heading out on tour in support of their debut full length, Fantastic Success out February 21st.

Mula Xul Tomorrow in Charlotte, NC

Mula Xul will be performing live at the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC tomorrow, May 4th. Mula Xul is a Charlotte, NC based progressive rock band that has been hard at work creating a conceptual set dealing with the collapse of society. Their sets are linear works, that paint a disturbing picture of the not so distant future. Sounds whack, I know, but go check it out and be pleasently surprised.

Despite the fact that Andrew Stockdale could easily replace Ozzy in Black Sabbath, the power trio is attempting to carve out their own place in music. Bouncing Souls Bouncing Back Again

In more 6/6/06 release news, the Bouncing Souls will drop Gold Record, their 8th studio album (I think). Anyway, they've already sold out their six date residency at The Knitting Factory in NYC, but you can catch them nearly all summer long on the Vans Warped Tour.
