Lonely Island direct Eagles of Death Metal

Although it looks like the new Eagles of Death Metal record, Death By Sexy, has been pushed back to a March release date there is already some promising things in the works for it. Over the weekend the band shot a video for ""I Want You Soo Hard (Boy's Bad News)" that featured both Jack Black and Dave Grohl as well as being directed by The Lonely Island. Loose Fur to release second disc, fans pleased

If you know who Loose Fur is you will be excited to hear that they will release their sophomore album, Born Again In The USA, on March 21st via Drag City. If you don't know who they and you consider yourself a fan of Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Jim O'Rourke, or Glenn Kotche (Wilco) then you should probably check them out - as the band is a collaborative effort between the three of them.

Epley And Crew Say Thanks, Think Japan

The Life and Times have posted their latest album, Suburban Hymns, in its entirety on their website, as token of their appreciation to the fans (and to continue help spread word about their debut full-length). Currently, the guys have several dates lined up for this month and into February (with loads of Spring dates planned along side Traindodge, Pelican and Mono). In March, the band will finish work on a new EP for release exclusively in Japan with producer J. Robbins. More details and a title for the EP as it becomes available.
