Decemberists go major

Reported by yewknee

What happens when you release a widely received album entitled Picaresque and tour like crazy for months on end? Well, if you're The Decemberists you get picked up by major label Capitol Records. It will be awhile before a proper full-length disc comes out on the major but maybe you can expect them to be the new Death Cab for Cutie.
