Paulson Is A Band

Reported by heyrevolver

Yesterday, Paulson released only what can be called a solid departure from past efforts with their sophomore album, All At Once. I'd recommend previewing the entire full-length with this album ecard (it's free, it can't hurt). The quintet is set to head out on a December tour in support of the release and to wrap up the year.

The Many Masks of Sondre Lerche

Reported by heyrevolver

Sondre Lerche is currently holed up in a recording studio in the midst of multiple projects. After pulling the details together from posts to his official website (see News/Monologues), it seems there could be a rock record, a "jazzy" record and an 80's-ish record in the works. However, with writing and recording for the soft, "jazzy" release already underway, it seems that's the album that should drop first. More recording sessions are expected in January, with studio time for the rock set being pushed back to post-January. Basically, firm details are scarce right now.

Tool news? Heh. Well, there's a bit: You knew the band was already in the studio, and it's been double confirmed off of the Suns of the Tundra site (formerly known as Peach) who said: "much excitement with the new Tool live album just round the corner, while the boys are finally laying some tracks for the sequel to Lateralus now ..." Oh, and The Saw II Soundtrack has Danny Lohner's (Maynard's on it too) REV 4:20 Mix of "REV 22:20" by Puscifer.
