On November 1st, Blink 182 is releasing a best of CD and DVD simultaneously. The CD features 16 hits plus the bonus tracks “Not Now” and “Another Girl Another Planet” and the DVD includes fourteen classic videos including the original version of “Stay Together for the Kids”.
While it's not officially available, we've been told that there are 22 new tracks floating around this glorious internet of ours from Elliott Smith dubbed From a Basement on the Hill II. The collection is made up for unheard demos, old b-sides, and a few rarities (such as"Suicide Machine" and "Abuse"). There are no plans to commercially release this collection so you'll have to find a friend of a friend of a friend who has them.
It's been awhile since the Liars have put out anything for consumption and now they're taking it to new levels. On Nov. 21 the band will release a 7" for “It Fit When I Was a Kid/Don’t Techno for an Answer” wrapped in an edible paper sleeve. Yes, edible. Get your pre-order on at their website. American Analog Set just released Set Free on Arts & Crafts and are touring the country in support of it. But according to the band, this is the last time. They may play a few shows here and there but the band has openly stated "...this is the last time we will get INTO a van in August and get OUT of the van in December." Catch them while you can.
