Philadelphia Grand Jury Does Another 7"

After releasing "The Good News" 7-inch vinyl in the UK earlier this year, Philadelphia Grand Jury is set to continue this theme with the UK release of "Going To The Casino (Tomorrow Night)." The single will be available on 7-inch limited black vinyl and as a digital download on August 23rd and from the band’s website.

The Stills Begin Writing Fourth Album

According to a note from the band, The Stills have asked Gregory Paquet (lead guitar on Logic Will Break Your Heart) back into the fold. The new lineup is currently working on their fourth album, the follow-up to 2008's Oceans Will Rise. And, if that wasn't enough, The Stills will join Built To Spill as supporting acts on some Kings of Leon dates in July and August. [www.arts-crafts.ca]

Fences Preps Self-Titled Debut

Seattle's Christopher Mansfield will release his debut full-length, under the moniker Fences, on September 28th. The album was produced by Sara Quin (Tegan and Sara). Fences released the Ultimate Puke EP last year. [www.myspace.com]

Primus Confirms Second Annual Oddity Faire, New Album

Primus have announced North American dates for the second annual Oddity Faire as well as some regular club shows. The combined tours run from July through October and will no doubt raise awareness of a new Primus album due in 2011 (the first since Antipop in 1999). Gogol Bordello and Mariachi el Bronx will join the mix on select dates. [www.primusville.com]

Deftones Announce Headlining Tour Dates

This week the Deftones announced a number of new tour dates in support of the recently released, Diamond Eyes. The Longest EP From NOFX

Three separate packages are available including a standard 2-CD version; a 4-disc Deluxe Limited Edition version with a DVD of all 38 UK & US video clips, plus a CD of last recorded live show; and lastly a Deluxe Limited Edition 5-LP version on vinyl. The Walkmen Announce Lisbon

The Walkmen will return on September 14th with Lisbon, the band's fifth album, courtesy of their new label, Fat Possum. According to a Hamilton Leithauser, the record features a "bunch of fast rockers and big bashers, and a couple great oddballs" and was culled from 29 songs. [www.fatpossum.com]
